Music Teacher

Experience in Education:  I began my teaching career in Memphis, TN in 1997-98.  I moved to Plano in 2003 to work at Rose Mary Haggar, and opened Hunt Elementary in 2005.

Background:  I grew up in Mobile, Alabama and attended St. Paul’s Episcopal School.  I attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and upon graduation, worked in retail as a buyer/manager at a department store and children’s specialty store.  Always active in the Memphis music community, I attended the University of Memphis to obtain my music education degree.  I worked in Memphis City Schools until I moved to Plano to be closer to family.  I have worked in Plano since 2003.

Interests:   I enjoy making music with friends and family, crossword puzzles, reading, and movies.
