Physical Education Teacher

Experience in Education:  I taught PE and coached basketball, volleyball, and track at Armstrong Middle School for 19 years. I taught several of our Hunt teachers and parents while I was at Armstrong. In 2005, I opened Hunt Elementary.

Background: I am from a family of educators. My father was a high school/ jr. college basketball coach, my mother was an elementary music teacher, my brother was a high school basketball coach, and my sister was a Science Teacher. I attended schools in Texas City, Carrollton/Farmers Branch, and Midland. I received the 2003 Sharon Smith Award for the Greater Dallas FCA and Hunt Elementary 2010-2011 Teacher of the Year.

Interests: I enjoy playing with my 10 grandkids when they are in town. I love to play the piano, read, go to the movies, bike riding, and watch sports with my husband.
