I started my journey in the education field 11 years ago in Wisconsin while I was completing my bachelors degree working as a teaching assistant at a local preschool and absolutely fell in love with the profession. After attending college at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, I moved to Minnesota with my husband and continued teaching there. My husband and I decided we were tired of the harsh winters and moved to Dallas, Texas in 2019.  I continued to work as a Preschool Teacher and then I found my calling at Mathews Elementary. This will be my 4th year at Mathews in the Pre-K department and I am so excited to start the 2024-2025 school year. When I am not in school, I really enjoy spending time with my husband and playing with my two cats, Earl Gray and Leroy, as well as being with family. 

I am looking forward to the new school year and excited to be your child's teacher.
