I am thrilled to be the 3rd grade Team Leader here at Mathews and part of this amazing community. This is my 10th year of teaching, in which 4 have been here in PISD teaching 2nd and 3rd Grade as a Mathew Maverick. Prior to moving to PISD I was at Princeton ISD, teaching 2nd. This is my THIRD year in 3rd Grade and I can't wait for it to be the best GOLDEN YEAR! I grew up in Plano, right down the street from Mathews (although I went to FISD). I now live in East Dallas!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy finding treasures at estate sales, being outside, reading, traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I have a passion for helping students discover the joys of learning and loving school. I'm looking forward to a fabulous year with my students!
