I am from McAllen, TX and I have lived in Plano since December 2000. I am married to my wife Carmela and we have five beautiful children. I graduated in 1983 from McAllen Memorial High School. In December 1988 I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and in December 1992 I earned a Master of Science in Art from East Texas State University, currently Texas A&M University in Commerce. I have been teaching at Mathews Elementary for eighteen years. I have taught art to all ages. I enjoy teaching elementary kids because deep inside I am a kid at heart when it comes to art.
