I am so excited to be the Assistant Principal at Mathews!  This is my 21st year in education and my 19th year at Mathews.  I taught fourth grade for 16 years, first grade for 2 years, 1 year in special education and am so honored to support the whole campus as an administrator.  This truly is my dream job and I feel so lucky to be able to continue by journey with the best students, staff, and parents.  My husband and I celebrated our fifteenth wedding anniversary this summer.  We have two wonderful daughters that keep us busy.  Addison is 13 and is an eighth grader at Schimelpfenig Middle School and my baby, Aniston, is 9 years old, and is in fouth grade at Mathews.  Time is flying by and before we know it, these girls will be headed to college.  I am often seen coaching volleyball or watching my girls play many other sports on the weekends.  We are a sports-loving family.  I love to watch current and former Mathews students when I run into them at PSA.  Other hobbies I have are shopping or watching my favorite sports teams, which are the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Mavericks.  Please know that I am here to support the students, staff, and the wonderful Mathews community everyday.  I cannot wait to meet all of the new Mathews families and see our returning families.  Please don't hesitate to reach out via e-mail or a phone call if I can help you in any way throughout the year.  I hope everyone has a great school year!
