U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award (1999), National Wildlife Federation Schoolyard Habitat, State of Texas Recognized School 1994-95 through 1998-99 and 2001-2003,
recipient of several Plano ISD Education Foundation grants 2001-2007, TEA gold performance acknowledgments in mathematics and writing.

Campus Programs

Cooperative Discipline, Jim Fay's Love & Logic philosophy, The Plano Rotary Club recognizes “Good Citizens of the Month”, “Christie Character Counts” self-manager incentive program, Fifth Grade Garden Club, Grades 3-5 Challenge Club, Active mentor program, “Books to Go” program for parents to checkout leveled books to read with their children at home, ELMS Club for ESL students and parents, Book Club for 1st through 3rd grades, peer mediators, 5th grade choir. Destination Imagination, Student Council, Student banking program and PASAR After-School Program.
