• FACILITY RENTALS

    Plano ISD facilities are designed primarily for educational purposes and school-related activities. District facilities may also be used after school hours by non-profit youth or adult organizations and for-profit organizations. Use of district facilities shall not be permitted when it interferes with the educational programs of any campus or district-scheduled activities including facility maintenance and/or repair projects. 

     

    Classifications have been created to differentiate between the various organizations/groups (such as non-profit youth sports, scouting groups, for-profit organizations and civic groups, etc.) and the fees for which each is charged. All organizations/groups within the same classification shall be offered fair and equal access to district facilities. 

     

    Rental requests are not accepted during the months of June – August unless pre-approved by the district leadership. This allows district campuses time to complete their calendars and projects. Sunday rentals are available to recurring renters for worship services and academically-centered education programs.

     

    Current Board policy GKD (Legal) and (Local) shall govern all non-school use of facilities.
