    Participating in Plano ISD schools empowers students to be able to adapt to new learning and career opportunities throughout their lives, collaborate with and contribute to the global community and to be disciplined and creative in their thinking.

    The Academic Services department oversees the administration of the curriculum and instructional programs of the district including career and technical education, the Academy Programs of Plano, multilingual education, special education, fine arts, special academic programs, and early childhood education.
