  • Government Shutdown Updates

When a household experiences a change in economic circumstances, the household may submit a Federal meal application based on the change in circumstances. Furloughed employees or employees that are required to work without pay are considered to have had a change in economic circumstances.

Households who wish to apply for free or reduced-priced meals need to complete a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application.  Applications will be processed within 10 school days.

Please remember, once eligibility is determined, the eligibility determination stays in effect for the remainder of the school year. The household may request to return to a previous eligibility when the household recovers financially, but is not required to do so.
