Achievements

U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School of Excellence (two time winner); Meadows Award of Excellence; Texas Successful Schools Award/Exemplary Performance; 97% of graduates attend college; 19 National Merit finalists; 45 National Merit Commended Students; 7 National Hispanic Scholars; 1 National Achievement Scholar. In 2003, 741 students took 1,816 Advanced Placement Exams, 51% scored 4 or higher; 82% scored 3 or higher. For 2003, 118 Advanced Placement Scholars, 63 Advanced Placement Scholars with Honors, 82 Advanced Placement Scholars with Distinction, 2 Advanced Placement National Scholars. Seven State Football Championships; Five State Boys Soccer Championships; Four State Girls Soccer Championships; Two State Golf Championships; Four State Swimming Championships; One-Act Play State Championship; and UIL District Academic Championship.

Campus Programs

Advanced Placement; Junior Achievement; two- and three-hour courses providing experience and training in several career options, Drafting, Clinical Rotation and Advertising courses; which earn college credit; Music Ensemble; State Band.

Parent Involvement Opportunities
