Mr. Francisco Rangel
Bilingual 4th Grade Teacher
My name is Francisco Rangel and this is my second year at Memorial Elementary and I have been teaching for about 10 years. I have enjoyed and learned a lot this past year, especially during these Covid-19 circumstances. I believe that every child deserves an opportunity to learn in school. My goal is to help your student to reach their fullest potential and become a good citizen of our community.
I have a beautiful family; my wife Lupita and three daugthers, Adilene, Natalie and Diana. We support each other in our familiy activities. When I am away from my students, I like to go on bike rides, walks, travel and go out to eat with my family. I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and in 1979 my parents brought me to the United States. My first career was in retail management, where I worked for 16 years. I then decided that teaching was my passion and have been an Elementary School teacher since.
I worked in the Retail Industry for 16 years (K-mart and Walmart). I started teaching in 2008-2009 year. I have worked mostly in Dallas ISD and now Plano , i going into my 4th year. I really value respect and responsibility in students as well as adults. One of the things I value the most is my family. They are the reasons I work hard and inspire and motivate me to do well.
What Memorial means to me.
Memorial has given me an opportunity to make a difference in a child's life. It has allowed me to grow as a professional teacher.
