Teacher 3rd Grade

 

I am truly grateful to be here as a third grade teacher at Memorial Elementary. This will be my 16th year teaching. I believe my classroom is a welcoming place for all students where they feel safe and comfortable to learn. About me, I was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Texas over 20 years ago. I am a proud mother of three children and even a proud grandmother of four grandchildren whom I visit frequently. I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY. I spent a few years in the business world in NY and in Dallas before deciding to get my alternative certification in teaching. I enjoy and have fun teaching my students at Memorial and it has been a rewarding experience that I will always treasure.
