Special Education Resource Teacher

I come to Memorial with a variety of life experiences. I have been a Histotechnologist in the Pathology Department for hospitals in several states, Minnesota, Arizona, and Texas. Then for eleven years in Oregon I was instructing K-5 students in small reading and math groups while supporting the Literacy Center at Tualatin Elementary. During this time, I volunteered as an Art Literacy teacher, 1st-5th, for five years. Since moving to Plano, TX six years ago, I have chosen to be a guest teacher and tutor 1st- 8th grade students. I love to spark interest in learning about most anything. I value kindness, curiosity, and respect towards one another.
