School Librarian

I was a junior high Reading Teacher and Specialist for fourteen years before becoming an elementary school Librarian in 2017. I believe every student is a reader - they just need to find the right book! My goals are to nurture and celebrate our students' love of books and to teach them how to pursue curiosity through research. I am committed to creating a library environment where students share what they are reading, know what it means to be good digital citizens, and practice effective, independent learning strategies.
