1st Grade Team Leader

Experience in Education:

I have been teaching for 15 years! I have taught kindergarten and first grade. I taught for two years in Kyle, Texas. This will be my 13TH year in Plano. I attended PISD schools starting in Kindergarten. I cannot be more proud to be a teacher for Plano ISD! Teaching is my passion and joy to be part of students' educational journey. I am so excited about another amazing school year! 

Family:

Family is everything to me! I have a very small family, and I am so thankful that we all live close by!  Our favorite thing to do together is swim and BBQ. I spend a lot of time with my first nephew who loves to smile and laugh!  Boy is he active! 

Interests/Hobbies:

I love being crafty! I enjoy swimming, watching movies, cooking, and getting manicures and pedicures. In my spare time I exercise and spend time with some of my friends!  Color makes the world a much better place, but pink and gray are my favorite! I love a bit of sparkle on everything!

Interesting Fact About Me:

I was raised in Plano and went through PISD since Kindergarten. Before I went into studying education, I was a musical theater performance major! I have been taking voice lessons and acting lessons since I was 5 years old.
