• FIRST® Robotics Competition (Grades 9-12)

    Plano ISD has 2 FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) teams.   An FRC team works together to:

    • Design, build, program industrial-size robots
    • Adhere to strict constraints, limited resources, and an intense 6-week build window
    • Analyze a complex challenge in order to compete in a difficult field game
    • Apply sophisticated math, physics, and engineering principles to reliably solve technical problems
    • Raise funds, design a team brand, collaborate, and hone real-world skills
