FIRST® Tech Challenge (Grades 7-12)
Plano ISD has 16 FIRST® Tech Challenge Teams (FTC) teams on 11 middle school, high school, and senior high school campuses. An FTC team works together to:
- Design, build, program, and operate 18” x 18” robots
- Play a floor game in an alliance format
- Develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles
- Innovate and collaborate and work hard to solve a complex challenge
- Raise funds, market their team, positively impact our community
