    There are many opportunities for students to continue learning and having fun with Plano Public Library. Anyone can attend library programs – no library card required – and all events are free. See our website for our full schedule. Here are some highlights: 

     

    ·         Learn about the Holi festival and South Asian culture through a story time, a variety of hands-on activities, and by throwing color powder with friends and family (all ages) 

    ·         Play the Game of Life with University of North Texas Student Money Management Center to learn how your future career can impact your financial life and decision making (teens) 

    ·         Meet Boeing teammates virtually to explore basic elements of flight, how a plane functions, and the building process of an airplane (grades 3-5) 

    ·         Learn about Hieroglyphs and design your own bookmarks and messages on papyrus (all ages) 

    ·         Explore how to draw your own stories through a crash course in comic making (tweens and teens) 

    ·         See the library’s 3D printer and learn how to submit 3D designs to be printed (grades 3 and up)
