Mrs. Ashley Anderson

Hello! My name is Ashley Anderson and I am the ESL teacher at Haggard Middle School! I am am very happy to be at Haggard and proud to teach ESL. I am a Spanish teacher with 13 years of experience, and this will be my second year teaching ESL, and my first year here at Haggard and at Plano ISD! I have taught in other school distrcts such as Frisco ISD, McKinney ISD, Lewisville ISD, and most recently, I came from Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. I love teaching languages, and I love working with middle school students! My hobbies include, traveling, reading, shopping, going to the movies, board games, and spending time with my friends and family. I have been happily married for 16 years, and I have 2 very loving and cute doggies, a Yorkshire Terrier named Rocko, and a Laso Apso named Lilly. I come from a Puerto Rican family, and I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I grauated from Denton High School, and went to the University of North Texas in Denton, where I got my Bachelors degree in Spanish. I am certified to teach ESL grades 6-12, Spanish grades 6-12, and ELA grades 4-8. I am very happy to be here, and very excited for the 2021-2022 school year! I hope it will be the best year ever!
