Welcome to Haggard Middles School.  My Bachelors and Masters degrees are in Communication Disorders.  I did however start as a classroom special education teacher for 8 years at a middle school before completing my Masters, but my heart has always been in working with Deaf/Hard of Hearing population.   After receiving my Masters degree, I worked in a aural rehabilitation clinic with clients that were all deaf/hard of hearing.  Lastly, and thankfully I have been working in the Plano Regional Day School for the Deaf since 2012.  My passion is to see my students graduate from school and have an opportunity for a successful life whether it be starting in the workforce, going to a trade school, or attending college.  

I live in Carrollton and have a supportive loving husband and 3 beautiful daughters.  We enjoy family time, playing games, and our girls lives are very rooted in theater, athletics, and music.   Another joy, outside of family, is volunteering with the Dallas Hearing Foundation Teen Group.
