Hello!

I am Kaki Bennett, and this is my 12th year serving as the librarian at Haggard. I love working to help students find great books, and I'm looking forward to an amazing 24/25 school year! (My name is pronounced kay-key)

I wasn't a reader growing up. I wasn't especially good at it. In high school, however, I had an amazing English teacher. In her class, something clicked, and I've been reading book after book ever since. I hope to help all students find joy in books like I did.

When I'm not at school, I love to spend time with my husband, two sons, and our dog. I also like to work in the garden, raise Monarchs, watch birds, and take the dog to the park. 

I love my job, and I love helping students become readers every year.
