Hey Haggard Eagles 💙🦅❤️ My name is Mrs. Wheeler and I am so excited to be the new choir director at Haggard! A little about me: I graduated from LSU with my Bachelors and Masters in Vocal Performance. GEAUX TIGERS 🐯💜 I went on to pursue an opera career and while I learned so much, had the time of my life, and loved being on stage singing, I missed being home more - being on the road just wasn’t for me! Once I was back in the Dallas area, I became certified to teach music. I spent my first 3 years teaching in Richardson ISD, then taught in Frisco ISD for 5 years. I am married to Mr. Wheeler, who happens to be the theatre teacher at PSHS, and we have two amazing daughters! Winnie is almost 7 and Junie is a year and a half — they are the light of my life and I can’t wait for everyone to meet them! I’m looking forward to making beautiful music with you all —it’s going to be an incredible year!
