Mrs. Megan Tsifopanopoulos
Hello!
My name is Megan Tsifopanopoulos and I am the English as a Second Language (ESL) Department Chair here at Clark High School.
I teach ESL to our beginner, newcomer students. Students working with me will be taking courses including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) 1/Newcomer Reading 1 and ESOL 2/Newcomer Reading 2. I also teach Multilingual Acculturation Studies for Newcomers (MAS). Furthermore, I provide support across campus to all ESL students in their intermediate and on-level courses.
I've taught students of all ages from across the world during my time living in Hungary and Greece. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics with TESOL with distinction from the University of Sheffield in 2020. My undergraduate degree is in Theatre from the University of Kansas, Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
In addition to my work, I also love traveling and spending time with my family. I'm proud to be a part of Clark, go wildcats!
