Mrs. Linda N. Martin
I was born and raised in Honduras. I lived in New Zealand, France, and Spain before coming to the US. I graduated from UNT in 1999 with a Bachelors in French and Spanish & a minor in Italian. I completed my Masters in Spanish with a minor in French in 2000. I taught Spanish at UNT, TWU, and NCTC prior to working at Fossil Ridge HS in Keller where I stayed for 10 years. In Keller, I taught Spanish Levels 1-5 including Pre-AP and AP levels. I stayed home for 2.5 years to take care of our daughter and finally, I joined Clark HS in 2011 as a Spanish teacher (Levels 1-3H). I have been teaching French (all levels) since 2015. I enjoy reading non-fiction, movies, teaching, and traveling.

Come prepared for tutorials: have questions ready.
If you are coming for a Retest or for a Make-Up, please let me know in advance so that I have your test ready or the lab equipment ready for you.
It is your job to check Pinnacle (your Gradebook). Each assignment has a "Narrative"- it gives you details on what to do, or where to find what you need for that assignment. Once you complete it, show it to me ASAP so I can update your grade.
On Google Classroom- you will find daily class notes. It is your responsibility to check those, especially when you are absent. You will find summary lessons (Screencastify videos); Warm-ups, answer keys, slide presentations, audio practices, and Youtube videos.
