  • Block Lunch

We will have Block Lunch daily beginning Wednesday. Some important information for a successful block lunch follows:

Clark High School is unable to host visitors during lunch when following the Block Lunch schedule. Seating is severely limited. Parents who would like to eat lunch with their child should plan to check the student out for lunch and return to campus with enough time to check in the student by 1:30 p.m.

Due to safety and security, outside vendors including UberEats and area restaurants are not allowed to deliver lunch on campus.

On the rare occasion that parents may need to drop off lunch to their child, the parent may drop off the lunch in the front office. The school will not page the student to pick up the lunch nor call the student from class. The parent will need to notify the student that there is a lunch available.

We cannot page a student during Block Lunch. If a parent needs to check out a student for an appointment and the departure time falls during Block Lunch, be sure to send a note with the student the morning of the appointment. Students with cell phones will have access to their phones during Block Lunch unless they are making up a test so a parent could text the student to meet them at the attendance window.

The cafeteria lunch line will close promptly at 1:20 p.m.
