This is my 21st year teaching biology at Clark High School and I'm thrilled and honored to be a part of this incredible educational community!
My goals this year center around the AVID FNT (focus note taking) strategy to provide students with a proven methodology for learning and developing academic skills. The implementation of this FNT method is school-wide this year and will really help the incominng freshman to become successful learners in all of their classes and courses.
With regard to my teaching journey, I have been a high school teacher since 1999, first teaching computer science for 4 years and then moving on to teaching biology at Clark HS. I have been married for 36 wonderful years to Jamey Reeves, and have two fantastic children, Dalton and Emily, who both graduated from Texas universities (TTU and UNT).
I am excited about the new 2023-2024 school year and meeting all the new first-year students and their families! It's going to be another great year of growing and learning at Clark High! Go Wildcats!
