Ms. Krista Kent
I am a native of Grand Prairie, TX, and currently live in Farmers Branch with my Sphynx cat Ari. I graduated with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah in 2001, and a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2004. I have been a School Counselor since 2003 and have worked in Granite ISD in the Salt Lake City, UT, area and Plano ISD. I have worked at both the middle school and high school levels, and love helping students succed in school! I am also a strong advocate and supporter of "College and Career Readiness", and will support students in navigating their personal journeys as they plan for life after high school. In my spare time, I love reading and watching movies as well as particpating in outdoor activities such as camping and white water rafting. I am an avid sports fan and love watching college and professional football in particular...go Utes and Cowboys!
