Ms. Hughes

Howdy!

I am Ms. Hughes, pronounced "Ms. Hews". I graduated from Texas A&M in 2021 with a major in University Studies - Mathematics for Teaching and two minors: Psychology and Learning in STEM. I have wanted to be a math teacher since I was a little kid, and am currently in my 4th year of teaching. This will be my 3rd year teaching Geometry at Clark High School.

I love math, my Clark family, and every single one of my students. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going on road trips, looking at cute animals, cooking, and learning new things.

  • Geometry Tutorials

Students can attend tutorials with me, Mr. Chantaplin, Ms. Carter, or Ms. Bothman. All Geometry teachers at Clark High School teach the same content and are equipped to help all Geometry students.

Please encourage your student to attend tutorials as soon as they start feeling confused, so we can help them understand the material before falling too far behind. We recommend students arrive to tutorials with questions prepared in advance, as tutorials are attended by several students and are only 30 minutes long and we do not offer one-on-one tutorials.

Appointments are NOT necessary, students may attend any session on the schedule
