Mrs. Megan Tsifopanopoulos

My name is Megan Tsifopanopoulos and I am the ESL Department Chair here at Clark High School. I teach ESL to our newcomer students, which include courses ESOL 1/Newcomer Reading 1 and ESOL 2/Newcomer Reading 2. I also teach MAPS.

I began teaching ESOL in Hungary, where I taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for 7th - 12th grade students before moving to Greece to teach privately while completing my MA in Applied Linguistics with TESOL from the University of Sheffield. My undergraduate degree is in Theatre from the University of Kansas, Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

My husband and I love to travel. In addition to my time living abroad, I've also traveled to over 30 countries. I also love animals and have a two-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix named Goober!

My passion is teaching English to newcomer students. I love what I do and can't wait to get to know the newcomer students here at Clark!
