Mrs. Alyssa Wade
Alyssa Wade is in her 9th year as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and her first year in this role at Clark High School. She previously worked with adults, specializing in the care of people with neurological conditions, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson's disease. She is excited about helping each student meet his or her educational goals through individualized speech therapy.
Mrs. Wade is a native Texan, born and raised in Austin. She married and graduated from Texas State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, studying voice. She moved to North Texas to pursue her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, which she earned at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2015. Along the way, she and her husband became parents to two beautiful girls. Outside of school, she enjoys doing outdoorsy things with her family and their two dogs. She also enjoys cooking, baking, singing, knitting, painting, and learning new things.
