She is passionate about helping each individual achieve his or her functional communication and educational needs through personalized care and collaboration with teammates. Mrs. Wade uses evidence-based practice, consistently integrating clinical expertise, research evidence, and patient/family input to provide excellent speech therapy services. She particularly enjoys supporting students who stutter using the "C.A.R.E." model and facilitating acquisition of communication skills through Augmentive and Alternative Communication (AAC). Additionally, she has extensive experience working with adults across the lifespan, specializing in the care of people with neurological conditions, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson's disease.

Mrs. Wade is a native Texan, born and raised in Austin. She married and graduated from Texas State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, studying voice. She moved to North Texas to pursue her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, which she earned at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2015. When time slows down, Mrs. Wade also enjoys cooking, baking, singing, knitting, painting, and learning new things.
