Experience in Education:

My professional background is solely in pediatrics with over 10 years of various pediatric clinical experience. I am currently working towards a Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of Texas at Arlington. My passion has always been working with and caring for children in all stages of growth and development with a focus on illness and injury prevention.  Hedgcoxe is my home away from home. I have been the nurse at Hedgcoxe since 2017. However, I did take some time off during the 2021-2022 school year, but I am so excited to be back!

Family:

I have been married to my husband Geoff since 2012 and have an 8yr-old daughter named Lucy. 

Interests/Hobbies:

When I am not working, I love to relax with a good book, spend time with my family and try new restaurants and local coffee shops. I am an animal lover and have a sassy tortoiseshell kitty cat named Gemma and an all-black ninja cat named KitKat.
