    Hello!
    My name is Debra Hayworth and I am one of the 7th grade ELA teachers at Robinson this year. I have been teaching for 8 years, 7 of those in Elementary (5th Grade). I am excited to be back at Robinson for another great year!

    I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I went to Willaim Jessup University for my Bachelor's and Grand Canyon University for my Master's of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. I moved to Dallas in 2020.

    When I am not teaching, I am usually at the ArtCentre Theatre of Plano where I act and direct shows for the community. When I started teaching, I received a grant from Disney Musicals in Schools and created a Drama Club at my first elementary school where I directed The Lion King Kids and Aladdin Kids. 

    My family is near and dear to me, and they live in California. I try to go home at least once a year! Here in Texas, I spend the majority of time with my fiance and his family, our two dogs, and our kitty.
