Hello! I am originally from Houston but landed in the DFW area after college. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001 with a BFA in Visual Studies. This is my 24th year of teaching. I started out my teaching career in Elementary K-5 Art at Skaggs Elementary. This is my 17th year at Robinson Middle School. I LOVE MY JOB! I love working with my students and helping them to become a true artist. I am passionate about art history and my favorite art medium is Printmaking. I teach Intro to Art,  Art 2D, Art 3D, and Advanced Art. This year is especially exciting because we will have another group of 6th graders taking Intro to Art as well.  I am also the sponsor for the Robinson Art Club. We meet once a month after school. Dates are listed below. Art Club is open to any Robinson MS student grades 6-8. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two daughters, and other family and friends.  I also enjoy reading, shopping, movies, and music. I have an amazing teaching partner next door to me, Jill Torres. Our art department is going to be #1 this year!
