Mrs. Meredith Smith
My passion for literature prompted me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Literary Studies from the University of Texas, Dallas. When considering a career, I wanted to work in a field that combined my love of learning and literature with helping people. Being a teacher-librarian is a natural choice! I received my MLS degree from the University of North Texas in May 2019. After twelve years of teaching English and Humanities at Vines High School, I accepted the position as librarian at McMillen High School in 2019. I am thrilled to be here, helping students and teachers with their information needs!
