I am beyond thrilled and honored to continue my journey at AMS. 🎉🐯 Serving this outstanding school, surrounded by such exemplary qualities that define the Armstrong Tigers, fills me with excitement and pride.
My journey in education began seventeen years ago as a history teacher in Broward County, Florida. Since then, I have had the privilege of teaching at Murphy and Haggard Middle Schools after moving to Texas. Before taking on the role of assistant principal, I worked as an assessment specialist in the district for three years. For the last five years, I've been at Clark High School as an assistant principal.
I have a passion for learning, evident in my academic journey. I hold a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Florida, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master's in Educational Leadership from UT Arlington. Currently, I am pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Administration with a superintendent certificate from Texas A&M Commerce. My wife, AnneMarie, and I are proud parents of three children who also attend Plano ISD schools.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I'm eager to meet each and every one of you. My leadership philosophy centers on making decisions that prioritize our students' well-being and success, while always striving to be a servant leader.
Joining the Armstrong family is a dream come true, and I am determined to play my part in supporting the growth and achievements of our students, staff, and the entire community.
Feel free to reach out to me at 469-752-4610 if you have any questions or if there's anything you'd like to discuss. Let's work together to make this school year one to remember! 🌟📚
Looking forward to our exciting journey ahead,
Principal, Armstrong Middle School
