JROTC is designated to teach/impact upon high school students the associated American values of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment through practical "hands-on" experience via student-led collaborative project management opportunities while instilling self-discipline, self-esteem, and teamwork.                 "Motivating young people to be better citizens"

Sergeant First Class Loredo instructs the Panther Battalion Freshmen and LET 1 Students at Williams and McMillen High schools. SFC Loredo also sponsors the Panther Battalion Drill Team, Color Guard team, and CyberPatriot team.
