Mrs. Tracie Redd
Tracie Redd is a Dallas original and graduated in the top 2% of her high school class. She attended the University of North Texas for two years before transferring to Baylor College of Dentistry to pursue a degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, Mrs. Redd practiced dental hygiene for 16 years until she decided to make a change into teaching. Her original teaching position was teaching elementary math and science classes. During this time her love for education grew and she attended the University of Texas at Arlington and received her Master of Education Degree in curriculum and design. Since 2013 she has been a Career and Technology teacher and loves teaching students Health Science courses.
Along with instructing Health Science courses, Mrs. Redd serves as the McMillen HOSA Chapter Advisor.
Mrs. Redd lives very near the school in Murphy. She enjoys gardening, shopping and home improvement. She loves spending time with her husband, children and other family and friends nearby.
Mrs. Redd is passionate about helping students and is the Lead Advisor for our suicide awareness program called Hope Squad!
