Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Dyana Edwards

I was born in Odessa, Texas, but moved to Northern Louisiana when I was 8. I graduated from Grant High School in Dry Prong, La in 2002. I went to Northwestern State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2007. I completed the “Teach” program in Louisiana to become a teacher. This is my 16th year teaching. I taught 7th and 8th-grade science (7 years) and high school for 4 years in Louisiana, then this is my 5th year in the great state of Texas.

I'm happily married to my best friend, Jermichael Davis. I have 3 kids (Elijah-19, Camryn-17, who is currently a senior at PESH, and Junior-10, who is in 5th grade back in Louisiana). We have 2 cats (Smidge and Felix) and a dog named Holi. We both like to spend a lot of time outdoors, traveling, etc. On the weekends, if we aren’t out and about or watching the Dallas Cowboys play football, then we are binge-watching shows on Netflix (Ha ha!). So far working for PISD has been amazing and so much fun! I look forward to spending many more years here as part of the PISD family!
