Greetings and salutations!

My name is Greg Wickham, and I am thrilled to be starting, not only my third year in education, but my third year at McMillen teaching Honors and On-Level World Geography.  Originally from Oklahoma, I did my undergraduate work at the University of Oklahoma where I earned my Bachelor of Arts with Distinction, majoring in both philosophy and history.  As a result of my work as an undergraduate, I was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.  I went on to earn my Master of Arts in philosophy, again, from the University of Oklahoma.  While pursuing my teaching credentials, I worked in a number of capacities in training and management in the retail world while also getting experience in the classroom as a substitute teacher for over ten years. I am excited to have finally found a home here at McMillen, and I look forward to making it a place that every student can call home.  I've been married for eleven years to my wonderful wife (who teaches Honors English II at McMillen) and we have two young children also in the Plano school district.  I am an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, backpacking, and camping with my family as well as traveling.  I love watching OU football and Premier League Soccer.  I am very excited about starting a new journey this year, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together!
