Greetings!

 I am teaching 6th grade World Cultures & Geography this year, as well as 7th grade Texas History. I graduated from TWU with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology in 2018, and completed an alternative certification program to become certified while teaching during my first year. I began my teaching career here at Otto in the 22-23 school year where I taught 8th grade U.S. History and Health, in addition to coaching football, basketball and track. I am proud to say that I coached my basketball team to a city championship in my inaugural year, in addition to fostering relationships with each one of my students and athletes geared toward their academic and personal development.

 I am passionate about being a positive male influence on the youth and am ecstatic about the opportunity to continue to do so here at Otto. Outside of teaching, I enjoy a fitness lifestyle based around exercise and nutrition, and I love making music in my free time as I have played the guitar for over 25 years. While I don't have children of my own, I do have a 3 year old 8 lb. chihuahua named Luna who I rescued off the streets as a puppy. I enjoy traveling and taking her with me on adventures wherever I can.  I am thankful to be in a position to inspire and uplift our scholars, and I look forward to connecting with my students in the coming year!
