I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Middle School Science.  My passion has always been working with kids and sharing my love of learning with them.  The 2024-25 school year will be my 12th year of teaching.  I have been at Otto Middle School since the 2019-20 school year.  I have had experience teaching grades 5-8, but my passion has always been with Middle School Science.  I teach a mix of On-Level and Honors for 8th Science at Otto and am also one of the NJHS sponsors.

I married my husband in July of 2010.  We have two sons and a daughter, and enjoy traveling as a family as much as we can.
