I realized my passion for working with individuals with special needs at a young age.  This passion was fostered by my mom who worked as a para professional in a special ed. classroom and I gained experience working with kids with special needs while teaching swimming for the City of Plano.   I went to the School of Education at Dallas Baptist Universtiy and upon graduation started my journey in education with a teaching position in Duncanville TX.   Having grown up in Plano  I returned to PISD and have enjoyed learning and growth the past 8 years here at Otto. This is truly a diverse school with wonderful students and staff.  I find myself learning from my students on a daily basis.
