I grew up in the Dallas area for most of my life. I attended Richland Collegiate HS for my junior and senior high school years. I graduated from RCHS in 2017. In the fall of 2017, I attended the University of Texas at Dallas to obtain my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a 4th-8th grade ELAR teaching certification.
After graduating from college in the spring of 2020, I began working as an 8th-grade ELAR teacher at Richardson ISD. After teaching 8th grade for one year, I decided to try teaching 7th grade ELAR the following year. I loved 7th grade, and decided to continue my time with that particular age group. After 3 years at Richardson ISD, I decided to move to Plano ISD to serve the community I grew up in.
This year will be my fifth year of teaching. This year I will take on a new role as the 7th grade ELAR team lead!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, working out, and spending quality time with friends and family. I have a four-year-old cat named Luca. He is the sweetest little boy ever!
I decided to go into teaching because I was inspired by the amazing teachers that I had as a student. I want to empower all students to realize their potential to be the best version of themselves!
