Years in Education:

This is my 23rd year. I started out as a bilingual second grade teacher in Arlington, TX and my career has taken me through many years of teaching including Kinder, 5th grade, and 8th grade. I became a librarian in 2010 and have done both middle school and elementary librarianship, but middle school is my joy. We moved to Plano in 2015. This is my second year at Otto, but my 10th year in Plano ISD. I am very excited to serve this new community.

Family:

 Married to my childhood neighbor, and we have two amazing daughters and a sweet, spoiled boxer. Our oldest just graduated from college and lives in Chicago, and our youngest is a sophomore at LeTourneau University.

Interests/Hobbies:

music, reading, movies, crafts, spending time with family and friends, helping people deal with their hurts, hangups and habits through recovery

Interesting Fact:

I grew up in Spain and attended the German school till I was 15 years old.
