I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1998.  I began my teaching career at Wilson Middle School that same year.  I taught sixth grade on level and honors math for five years.  After receiving my master's degree from the University of North Texas, I became a counselor in the district at Schimelpfenig Middle School.  I was a counselor and Team Leader there for nine years.  I went to Frisco ISD for a year and quickly realized how much I missed Plano ISD!  I came back home arriving at Robinson Middle School in 2012.

My family includes a husband, Bo, and a daughter named Ella Rose.  Being animal lovers, we have many dogs that are very much part of our family.  Traveling is how we like to spend our extra time.  We love going to the beach every summer, with our latest trips being to Maui, Aruba, and the Bahamas.
