I am excited to be part of the Vines HS math department this year! I spent the last 5 years teaching math and coaching at Schimelpfenig Middle school in Plano. Prior to joining PISD, I was a Cluster Specialist in Richardson where I wrote curriculum and coached math teachers at 13 elementary campuses across the district. I believe high expectations and student accountability along with a growth mindset and immediate feedback will push students in the right direction. Together we will build a community of learners in my classroom where everyone collaborates and enjoys learning. I am excited about this year and I absolutely love my students already! Outside the math classroom you will find me coaching volleyball and track or spending time with my family.
