Welcome to the 2023-2024 School year at Foreman Elementary.  

My name is Michael Garrett and I currently serve as a Resource/Inclusion teacher here at Forman Elementary.  This is my first official year here in Plano as a full-time teacher, although I have worked in the district as a substitute teacher in previous years. I am a Dallas native who attended the Dallas County Community College District as well as the University of Texas at Dallas.  I have been teaching since 2009 and have taught in various teaching capacities such as a Special education as well as a classroom teacher. I am wholeheartedly committed to the Forman vision of excellence for our campus and our Plano East community. I hope everyone has a great year, and feel free to reach out if any concerns arise.
