I have had the honor of teaching students for 33 years!  I'm so happy that my teaching home is McMillen High School.  I have been here since we opened in 2011.  Prior to that, I have taught English in middle and high school here in PISD, was English Department Chair at Jenks Middle School (Tulsa area), and taught advanced-level ELA in Flossmoor School District 161 (Chicago area).  My lovely wife is a teacher in Allen ISD, and our 27-year-old son is a software engineer/architect for a company here in the Dallas area.  I met my wife in college, and we were married in 1988.  We also have a precious little Shi-tzu / Maltese mix named Chloe.  We love to travel internationally because it opens our minds to new ideas as we experience different cultures.  My motto is:  "I am in part who I am today because of where I traveled yesterday."
